Head of Facilities

£46,433 - £54,439 (Band 8A) inclusive plus on-call allowance of 9.5%

37.5 per week

St. Joseph's Hospice is one of the oldest and largest hospices in England serving a population of more than 2 million people. We are a registered charity delivering quality end of life care services to patients and their families in East and North East London.

We require a Head of Facilities who will oversee our entire hard and soft facilities services including maintenance, household and related teams, together with our contracted out catering services.

You will provide forward-thinking professional leadership to the facilities teams and promote high standards in facilities management across the entire hospice premises. You will also be highly motivated, have effective communication and interpersonal skills and experience gained in a similar role or roles of this type.

You will need:

  • Experience of leading and managing a large team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of managing facilities projects including full refurbishments
  • Experience of developing site strategies
