Responsible for working with Project Manager on the planning and delivery of selected projects across the business, including but not limited to minor capital development, commissioning, de-commissioning and procurement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Professionally support for the Project Management from inception to completion of minor Capital & other Projects for the organisation and other clients as required; 
  • Fully support the Project Manager/Head of Projects in feasibility studies, Assist with the design, programming, understanding financial management of schemes, property inspections and the supervision and co-ordination of external consultants, contractors & site inspectors;
  • Communicate with, and provide support key stakeholders of the Trust, or their representatives, in order to determine / advise on scheme briefs, budgets, timescales and logistics; 
  • Fully participate in the project team meetings and support presentations to key stakeholders; 
  • Support the commissioning of new & refurbished facilities including validation and environmental tests & transfer of services; 
  • Deputise for other members of the department as appropriate; 
  • Support procured projects ensuring liaison with appropriate professional, technical & quality standards and are designed with the necessary physical environment that is conducive to patient care / recovery; 
  • Support the organisation to ensure that projects comply with Building Regulations, other Statutory Legislation, regulations, approved codes of practice (ACOPS) and National Guidelines including; The Capital Investment Manual (CIM), Health Technical Memoranda, Health Building Note’s and the Construction (Design & management) Regulations (CDM regulations); 
  • Monitor and report progress on the development and implementation of delegated projects to the Property Services Management Team in both written and verbal format as required, including the associated costs where relevant; 
A successful candidate will have:
  • Relevant software packages such as MICAD, Auto Cad, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, to produce documents and drawings as required.
  • Qualified in a relevant degree or equivalent, client is willing to consider non-graduates with relevant level of work based experience;
