M&E Project Manager, Manchester
This business is a large scale, multi-faceted, energy provider and a big name in the market place. Although an interim position, for the right candidate this role could career enhancing with strong exposure to a key part of the business with a focus on large projects, tenders and bids.
This is initially a 3 month rolling contract, however the scope is there for this to be a longer term assignment, perhaps 6 months to a year and maybe beyond. Reporting in to the Operations Manager, You’ll be managing multi-fuelled heating, water and process projects from inception to completion, typically ranging in values up to £10m across corporate and SME markets. You’ll be home based, with a main reporting office in Rotherham, however this is a National role with a lot of travel to project sites.
To thrive in this role you’ll need to be APM qualified or hold an equivalent project management qualification and you’ll have a full knowledge of implementing and delivering to defined project lifecycles. You’ll have a robust technical background in complex multi-fuel heating and hot water systems as you’ll need to be able to interpret, contribute to and manage installation design solutions, technical specifications, and pricing solutions to meet client requirements on complex installation projects. Suffice to say your stakeholder management will be excellent as will your financial control of projects.
£250 - £300 per day, dependent upon experience
