Regional Officer - Estates
This is an exciting opportunity to support an ambitious transformation programme to build a new modern, digitally enabled estate - and help us create the best Estates department in Government.
HMRC is on a journey of change. We’re becoming a modern tax authority, equipped for the future needs of our customers. As part of this we’re creating modern, collaborative working environments and bringing our broad organisation together - from over 170 small, old offices to fewer than 30 modern buildings with excellent and innovative facilities. From building and contract management, to support services and project management, the Estates department has a pivotal role to play.
Throughout these changes and beyond, as a Regional Officer you’ll be at the heart of an excellent facilities management service. The Regional Facilities Manager will rely on your support in everything from proactive supplier relationship management, through to the development of our customer focused services. As a link between contractors and customers, you’ll ensure both hard and soft FM services are delivered to the highest standards, with great communications. As our property portfolio changes, you’ll help to make sure our services evolve along with it. You’ll be involved in everything from commissioning new facilities to supporting workplace improvements.
To join us, you’ll need to either have or be willing to gain BIFM Level 2 or an equivalent qualification. With facilities or contract management experience, you demonstrate the facilities management skills necessary to manage supplier relationships and meet customer needs. Your knowledge of key performance related schedules equips you to support contract management.
