Interim Head of Facilities
A world famous public attraction is seeking an Interim Head of Facilities to be responsible for delivering a safe, well organised experience that exceeds customer expectation. The post holder will oversee all aspects of day to day soft services in addition to overseeing the planning and delivery of an extensive maintenance/minor works programme.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading a customer facing FM team in a similar prestigious environment and have demonstrable experience in creating a culture of service excellence. You will be adept in people management including mentoring, motivating and developing staff. Excellent organisational and planning skills are also essential including the effective performance management of external suppliers. Previous public venue expertise in a high public foot fall environment would be advantageous.
They are particularly seeking to maximise the potential of their history, brand and physical environment from a property and FM perspective and they are therefore seeking candidates who have a track record of successfully operating in best in class environments. Given the diverse nature of stakeholder relationships the post holder will proactively manage, it is expected that prospective candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be extremely delivery focused and customer oriented.
This role is initially offered on an interim contract for ¾ months.
