We have the pleasure working with a UK renowned market leading FM, provides facilities management, consultancy, project management and a range of specialist services that connect people with innovation and technology. Offering a wide range of services - from real estate and energy consultancy, compliance, risk assessment and security systems to cleaning, catering and environmental services.

We are looking for a highly-experienced M&E Business Development Manager to report to the Sales Director and develop opportunities growing and finding new business with a measurable market penetration, sales and profit growth within the London FM and M&E market 

Please see below for duties:

 To deliver £6m of annualised new business of which 50% should be invoiced in year.
 To maintain a substantial pipeline (£30m+) of sales opportunities by pro-active relationship building, networking and customer intimacy.
 Drive private and public sector market penetration through effective engagement with customers and other stakeholders. Proactively identify opportunities for new business and ensure that bid winning themes are appropriately campaigned.
 Identifying a significant pipeline of opportunity, you will drive revenue / order book growth and performance through excellent customer focus, outstanding service delivery and innovation. 
 Network with key players in the market place and build strong relationships 
 Manage and minimise risk in the proposition especially around lifecycle risk.
 Influence and shape the procurement process, with the aim of securing large scale multi service, multi-year contracts.

The Desired candidate will have:

 Experience in both private and public sector tendering with a technical background/qualification.
 Critical to the success of this role is a strong leadership style and a broad commercial background. The successful candidate will possess the ability to engage and influence key decision makers across a diverse client base and demonstrate having previously shaped and successfully led, large and complex outsourcing deals within the private and public sectors.
 You will have a successful track record of operating, bidding, implementing and developing large scale tenders. An in depth understanding of the contractual, legal and financial details of complex contracts with significant experience of leading bid strategy, assembling and leading bid teams, client negotiation, and identifying bid solutions is essential
 Capable of developing a strategy and value proposition which supports the successful sale of major outsourcing deals
 Significant experience in shaping contract bids, negotiations and contractual terms and conditions as well as procurement is critical.
