FM Senior Business Development Manager

£45,000 - £65,000 

Salary dependant on experience, capability and evidence of results and commercial success.

ASG Corporate is a fast-growing company, who has been successful in providing quality services, ranging from After Builders construction cleaning to soft core facilities management services. Due to exciting developments, as a company, we are seeking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager specialising in FM who will have the opportunity to grow to becoming Business Development Director. 

An ideal candidate will have:

• Phenomenal Business Development experience within Facilities Management

• A strong track record in delivering sales revenue against targets

• You will demonstrate a sound commercial focus and ability to work closely to develop effective customer relationships

• Strong and proven networking skills

• Excellent communication skills and the power to influence others

• Good IT skills with cost spreadsheet and tender document experience (E.g. PQQ)

The Key tasks and accountabilities associated with this role are as follows:

• Manage and mentor a sales team 

• To target contracts with the value of £1million plus

• Develop, present and successfully sell the company’s services to existing and potential clients, assist in the planning and implementation of strategy to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts and opportunities to be made. 

• Pro-actively approach and nurture new business within the FM Sector

• Manage, develop and progress with new and assigned leads and referrals and identify and target sales prospects and establish contact with such prospects and other accounts as assigned. 

• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts to be delivered to internal and external parties, develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. 

• Establish, develop and maintain current client and potential client relationships; ensure such contact is periodically refreshed by way of regular communication. 

• Prepare accurate and concise paperwork to activate and maintain contract services. 

• Manage account services through quality checks and another follow-up. 

• Take full ownership for investigating and resolving assigned customer and client concerns and grievances; implement strategy to avoid reoccurrence of such issues in the future and provide solution on an ad-hoc basis. 

Applicants must possess an excellent understanding of the FM sectors route to market.  

The post holder should be capable of completing site survey visits, report writing and presentation of findings and communicate effectively with site management teams, budget holders and senior management. 

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is proven knowledge and practical experience of internal and external sales promotion techniques. The post holder will be required to present and maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image at all times.
