The BFI is an internationally recognised cultural body, and the lead organisation for film in the UK. We are a Government arm’s length body and distributor of Lottery funds for film.
The BFI is looking for a proactive Facilities manager to help provide a full range of facilities services to all London BFI sites, mirroring the department’s positive can-do attitude.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities, the portfolio of products includes Mechanical and Electrical Services, Building Fabric, Furniture, People and Equipment Moves, Post and Despatch, Catering, Health and Safety, Financial and General Administration, Security and Cleaning and some minor works projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of building engineering services and their operation and have an aptitude for managing outsourced contracts and contractors across a wide range of disciplines, as well as managing a small in-house team.
