Reporting to the Director of Student Accommodation this newly created post of Business Standards Manager will act as the strategic point between the 21 internal residences and the external delivery partners. You will develop and implement procedures for auditing service delivery both internally & externally, monitoring the performance through key performance indicators. You will carry out operational audits of the facilities management contracts ensuring that they are adhering to the contractual obligations.

You will work closely with the Residence Operations Manager to identify models of best practice within the residential portfolio that can be developed and delivered with the residential teams to provide a standardised operational delivery programme that will enhance the student experience.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in leading performance and audit processes for facilities management contracts with a track record across all aspects of soft and hard services. This could be an ideal career move for individuals who have successfully worked within service provision but are looking to progress their career “client side” in a strategic role.
