The Royal Borough of Greenwich are currently recruiting for a Condition and Compliance Manager to monitor the compliance of our Corporate Buildings and School estates. This is a great opportunity for an individual to grow within a fast paced local authority team.

Duties include:

• Undertaking internal statutory audits to ensure statutory compliance is in line with industry, health and safety, legislative regulations and contractual obligations.

• Preparing reports with recommendations and guidance for corrective/preventive actions leading to continual improvement within the council

• Providing specialist support in managing compliance issues e.g. statutory certification, remedial works and documentation control.

• Promote, develop and establish a positive safety culture in order to meet legal requirements in terms of Compliance.

• Monitor the compliance of our estates' and formally advise managers on areas of non-compliance

The successful individual will have proven experience within a compliance manager position and have experience working with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be commercially sound with an understanding of managing related building, compliance and Health & Safety matters.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications:

• Experience in managing building services

• IOSH/NEBOSH

• Health & Safety and environmental qualifications at a management level

• Strong managerial experience

• Practical experience of CAFM systems
