The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery of soft Facilities Management (FM) services (cleaning, catering, security etc.) and hard FM services (electrical, mechanical, fabric, civils etc.) within a diverse multi premises estate located throughout Tayside operational policing area. Responsibilities include ensuring statutory and contractual compliance; planned preventative maintenance; reactive maintenance; minor project works; and the delivery of contracted cleaning and catering services, all in accordance with agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators.
The post holder will be responsible for the line management of Property Inspectors and Caretakers and manage and review various FM service contracts to ensure Contractors deliver cost effective services in accordance with the agreed scope of works, quality and timeframes. The post holder will also ensure all properties, FM services, Contractors and end users comply with statutory regulations.
Applicants must be educated to HNC level in a Building, Facilities Management or Health and Safety discipline, with proven supervisory experience in Facilities Management either on the client or customer side. Good organisational and time management skills and excellent communication skills are also essential for this post.
This post is full time and requires standard recruitment vetting. A driving licence is essential.
