This client has asked Maxwell Stephens to find an ambitious and dedicated Tenant Fit-Out Manager to assist their property landlords. This is the opportunity to work in a collaborative and results-driven environment within an extremely diverse position.

With extensive experience in multi-tenant properties, you’re looking for a challenging role well suited to your capabilities. You’ll have both strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a good working knowledge of construction costs and estimating tools such as MS project.
Your in-depth understanding of the technical requirements involved in business relocation, construction and renovation will be invaluable to our client.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Each day, you’ll be managing all Landlord consultants within the properties; overseeing preparation and execution of tenant fit-out activities. You’ll be responsible for facilitating the smooth transition of all tenants into our client’s properties – going above and beyond the call of duty whenever possible.
Managing systems and policies for all projects, you’ll be both author and custodian of new company Fitout Policies and Procedures, both for the client and their joint venture partner properties.
Whenever a tenant files a work or alterations proposal, you’ll set to work with the property landlord, coordinating technical elements with all stakeholders such as external contractors and consultants.
Your exceptional communication skills will be put to good use as you liaise with all parties to produce your own “tenant technical services” proposals, monthly reports, insurance incident reports, and assist in updating the portfolio’s management publications.
Day to day, you’ll need to use your tact and diplomacy in order to ensure effective communication with all tenants within the property; making sure they are happy and that all works are carried out to the highest standard.
Working with a wide range of consultants on tenant fitout projects, you’ll help to promote team involvement between all company staff and external contractors operating in the property. You’ll also regularly engage with senior personnel, supporting them with any leasing and asset management initiatives that you can.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating, instructing and generally overseeing the ‘fit out team’ of consultants chosen by the landlord to provide guidance on proposed fit out works. They will prepare their advice on projects for you to present to the landlord; liaising between the two parties in order to ensure effective communication at all times.
As the fit-out manager, you’ll be supervising on a wide range of projects, from metering, structural and architectural impact, and both mechanical and electrical issues to fire safety and other processes such as access control and hazardous activities.
Responsible for the health and safety of everyone involved in fit-out works in the property, you’ll need to coordinate with our client to ensure full compliance at all times.
You will also be a key player in maintaining the records of all related expenditure and spending. In regard to tenant fit-out work proposals, the landlord will rely on your in-depth understanding of the industry as to whether consultant professional fees are reasonable, ensuring agreed fees match invoices and schedules.
