Starting salary range: from £34,609 to £36,475 per annum dependent on skills, experience and qualifications

Hours: 39 per week (Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, hour lunch. Friday 8am – 4pm) with working from home option available for up to 2 days per week

An opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Health and Safety professional to join our Facilities and Estates team.

Based on our campus in the heart of royal Regent’s Park the main responsibility for this key role is to ensure Regent’s has an excellent management response to the needs and demands of the Health and Safety at Work Act and to ensure our suppliers, contractors, staff, students and visitors share our common safety goals and deliver a first class service to Regent’s with regards to the Act.

The role will also oversee and manage our environmental performance, specifically our ISO 14001 and 50001 awarded accreditation. You will advise and guide colleagues who are responsible for performance, delivery and audits relating to our certificates, and be actively involved in helping to set and manage Regent’s aims and objectives.  

With membership of NEBOSH or similar you will have a proven track record of delivering H&S and environmental advice and support based upon current legal requirements and best practice across a large organisation. You will be confident in ensuring senior management are kept informed of safety law and practice and have experience in managing and maintaining policies, procedures and risk assessments.

This post can be offered on a flexible basis with the option to work from home up to two days per week, or flexibility on working hours.
