About the role

We are looking for a talented individual to take the lead position as Facilities Operations Manager. Your task will be to provide management, budgetary control and support to the Facilities support staff at this world leading environmental research centre.

Your specific areas of responsibilities will include managing a team of general facilities support and catering staff.  Manage the operational site facilities budget and monitor the procurement and receipting function as well as taking operational responsibility of in-house and outsourced facilities. 

About you

To carry out this role you will need to have a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification and suitable experience.  BIFM membership of at least Member grade. 

You should be able to lead a team of people as well as have experience of financial and procurement management.  You should also have an awareness of facilities related Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
