The role of the Regional Property Managers is to support and assist the Scottish Property Manager in the provision of the effective and efficient management of the Boards property portfolio and delivery of property related services. This will include the development and implementation of strategies and policies, budgetary preparation, monitoring and control, defining quality, setting service standards, developing and implementing procedures, management and delivery of property projects and managing service delivery contracts and staff.
Candidates will be educated to degree level in a relevant building related discipline and have extensive experience with regards the development, management and operation of a multi-site property portfolio. Significant project management and delivery experience alongside demonstrable experience of procuring and managing all types of design services, works and service provisions is required.
The successful candidate will also have sound technical knowledge with regards the design, construction, maintenance and operation of buildings and demonstrable knowledge of all relevant and current legislation and best practice in relation to the built environment and the management of a multi-site estate.
A driving licence is essential for this role.
