I am currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join my client, a leading NHS Trust, near the Staffordshire area. This role sits at the heart of the property team and will help with the Contracts Management of the contractors on site.
My client is a NHS Trust that is based near Staffordshire.
The Contracts Manager (Property) will be fundamentally responsible for organising and managing contractors on site. They will also work with the NHS Property Team, to organise the data and plan how to deliver capex works and in general run the estate in the most cost effective manner possible.
The contracts manager will be someone:
Ideally from a background in the NHS, or an environment where they have manage contracts and contractors on site before.
Someone who has experience of dealing with agencies landlords' property contracts.
Someone who has experience collating and managing property data collection, preferably within the NHS.
Has a relevant degree, qualification or experience in building management and property management.
Be able to get to Staffordshire on a daily basis and be comfortable with a desk based job.
Be able to support the client with their annual data collection to examine the cost of running the estates.
Also, they will need support looking at their Premises Change Model.
This person does not need to be an expert in areas of property management, but needs to be a facilitator and support analysis of the data to perform gap analysis and recommend areas for improvement.
Depending on experience this role will offer between a band 6 and band 7 pay. It also offers the opportunity to have flexible working and most importantly the opportunity to go temp to perm if you wished. The team itself are a close and relatively small sized team and this role works with all the key stakeholders. It is a role that offers a lot of autonomy and for this right person.
