Building Environment Manager

The Role

We are recruiting for a customer-focused and commercially aware Building Environment Manager, accountable for the continuous improvement and delivery of operational, security and facilities management within the {LOCATION} region.

Responsibilities

  • Support and partner with the RBEM and ZOM in the delivery of a cohesive operations strategy that correlates with the business plans and consistent evolution of performance and process improvement
  • Continuously develop relationships with our associated providers who partner with both Arcus and Sainsburys to directly contribute towards a truly consistent and outstanding service.
  • To meet and build relationships with managers, evaluating the building maintenance and security operations correlate with our policies and procedures. Including liaison with contractors and suppliers to guarantee that projects are completed legally compliant, on-time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the retail Security Manager on the delivery of projects, alongside supporting the customer with crime related cases, report writing and additional crime related responsibilities
  • Liaison with commercial, store manager and ROM reviewing store guarding provision in line with KPIs

Experience

  • An extensive background and astute understanding of facilities management within a multi-site retail/commercial building environment, focused on the delivery of customer experience.
  • Experienced within process and delivery across quality management, health and safety, legal compliance, environmental and crime/security, alongside process improvement tools/policies.
  • Effective communicator with the natural ability to negotiate and influence, alongside working diplomatically with clients, colleagues and customers across various stakeholder groups.
  • Good standard of IT proficiency and competency with financial analysis and planning tools.
