Senior Facilities Manager
A need has arisen for a Senior Facilities Manager to be based at a complex health care site in the West Midlands as part of a PFI contract and to manage the team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the building fabric.
Our client is a service provider providing facilities management services across a range of sectors nationwide.
This is an autonomous role for a Senior Facilities Manager to head up and manage the team responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the building fabric at two hospitals in the West Midlands, one of which is a particularly large and complex site.
Within your team you will have several facilities managers as well as a team of multi skilled maintenance staff including plasterers, carpenters, painters and plumbers.
You will manage the team to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out efficiently whilst ensuring that there is minimal disruption to the end user.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a background of working within an FM based hospital role. It would be advantageous to have PFI experience but this is not essential.
Qualifications or professional memberships that would be advantageous would include BIFM, CIOB, RICS etc
As the role is based in the West Midlands and requires no travel outside of this region you will ideally live in or around the West Midlands region.
A salary of up to £55,000 + benefits is on offer for the successful Senior Facilities Manager.
