This is an exciting time to join our Business & Industry team. Due to an increase in sales, retention and exciting ongoing growth plans for the division, we are seeking a Cleaning Solutions Lead, to provide cleaning solution ideas, pricing and service delivery solutions for new business and major rebid activities. You will be the Cleaning Subject Matter Expert (SME) within Business & Industry (B&I), to lead innovation and differentiation to our Cleaning propositions that we offer.

This is a home based role, providing National support to the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing the service delivery solutions when developing tender responses, either new business, growth on existing or retention
  • Providing detailed & costed solutions/operational models for our Cleaning and other related service offerings such as Pest Control and Waste Management
  • Providing detail on the required consumables, equipment, resource loading & cleaning regimes
  • Influencing the development of a cost model for the various differing workplace cleaning solutions depending of the client type
  • Developing and responding with detailed Cleaning Method Statements
  • Visiting client sites and undertaking site inspections, as required during the bid process to assist with your recommendations
  • Engaging with relevant suppliers for consumables or equipment required
  • Attending Cleaning Forums and Industry Events
  • Working as a key partner in developing innovation and Cleaning service offers and value propositions
  • Supporting the Business Development Management team, providing service line insights into innovation and operational solutions prior to any Request For Proposal (RFP) process in support of targeting and business development process
  • Acting as the solution continuity into operational delivery and mobilisation - handing off to the mobilisation and operational lead
  • Positively developing internal relationships across the Business Development and Operations teams as well as other functions including Finance and HR
  • To actively network with BIFM on behalf of the Business and Industry sector and ensure new ideas and opportunities are cascaded throughout the sector

Experience required:

Education/Qualifications

  • Ideally, Degree or operational management professional qualifications
  • Analytical and Modelling capability - use of Excel spreadsheets

Working experience/Personal attributes

  • Proven Operational Cleaning Management experience - have led Cleaning Operations
  • Commercial decision-making ability
  • Written ability to draft responses to technical questions, statement of requirements, and service delivery solution narrative
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally, having a professional approach at all times
  • Can develop relationships well and is a good listener
  • Ability to hold strategic conversations with senior client management teams
